Cedar Mountain Drums Rattles

Rattles are traditionally used to break up stagnant energy and to allow natural flow to occur.  They are also used for by shamans and students of shamanism for healing and  journey work, as well as being great rhythm instruments.

Cedar Mountain Drums' traditional rattles are made of elk rawhide with natural sticks and come in small round, medium round, medium star, large round and large crescent moon sizes.  We also make a limited number of large round buffalo rattles, call for availability.   

Each is handmade and individual and their music is charming.  

 

We also carry turtle shell rattles, both plain and fancy, made from the shell of the red ear turtle.  Variations in size and color are normal.

  

Rattle Kits are available in mini, small, medium & large round and the large crescent moon design.  They include the pre-cut rawhide, handle, sinew, stuffing, rattle needle, corn and full instructions.
