 The snake, which is sacred to the Goddess in
many cultures, represents feminine energy, while the spiral shape denotes
the continuous circular dance of life, learning and initiation.
Like the labyrinth, the spiral leads us deep into the center, where we can
contact the core of our higher selves. The fact that this snake is a
viper lends a cautionary note that those who are not prepared to proceed
without fear may find danger in her coils. Shown on a 15" drum, this
design is not available for 13" drums and will be centered on larger drums.
